5 Simple Tips To Have A Clear Skin

11:45 AM

Hello everybody!

So, obviously, as teenagers, having a clear skin is one of the most important things for us. At least it is for me. And in this post, I thought, writing about how to have a healthier skin would be a smart idea, thinking that a healthy skin means a clear skin.

And before I forget, you may see a dermatologist if you have any other problems with your skin including your acne getting worst from time to time. Do not forget there are several reasons for acne such as our genes, stress, hormones,..etc.

I do talk to much, let's start before I go deeper and deeper!

Tip 1: Drink Water

I know that you heard this tip probably more than a thousand times, but please make sure that your skin is hydrated. You may think that using a moisturizer is enough, but it's actually not. Your skin needs hydration from both in and outside. So make sure you drink at least 8 cups of water a day. If you are having trouble with drinking just water, you can actually try to add some different tastes in to your water, by adding in some vegetables, fruits and etc. If you are looking for recipes, there is a link for another post that has one.

Tip 2 : Make Sure You are Using Products Which are For You Skin Type

You want to make sure that you know what your skin type is, and chose your Make-Up or Skin-care products according to your skin type, not just because it can cause acne, because it can actually harm your skin too.

Tip 3: Keep Your Skin Clean

Wash your face in the morning, at night, and after the gym with a cleanser. My skin type is combination and it is sensitive, I prefer using Sebamed Cleansing Bar. It is paraben free and because it is hypoallergenic, you can wash your face with it daily without any fear of an allergic reaction. Please, don't forget, you would not want to wash your face with a regular cleansing bar, because different parts of body has different rates of PH levels. Follow a strict cleaning, toning and moisturizing routine every morning and every night.

Tip 4: Stay Away From Junk Food

Let's be honest here, this is a hard one. Most probably the hardest. But unfortunately, this is a must. At least, try to eat junk food as least as you can.

Tip 5 : Change you Pillow Case Frequently, Tie Your Hair Up at Night and Touch Your Face As Little As You Can.

This may sound strange to you all, but believe me, you will change your pillow case as soon as you can when you read this one.

Just like anything that transfers dirt and oil to our skins, pillows can actually cause acne too. If a pillow case is not changed frequently, it will have more dirt, oil, ... etc. on it. Which will transfer on to your skin while you are sleeping.

Think about all of the things you actually touch in a day. Including money, food, your phone and hundreds of more. When you touch your face, all of those bacteria transfer on your face. Isn't it gross? All of those germs? And, did you know that as well as they worsen acne, they can cause eye bags too?

Tying up our hair is actually because of the same reasons with changing our pillow cases and not touching our faces. Oils will transfer to our face while we sleep at night. By tying our hair up, we can avoid our hair from touching our faces.

Thank you for reading, I will see you on my next post!
